I drew a starting draft for a house and emailed layout file to customer but they cant open the layout .
Their computer is asking them what app to open with. What would you say?

I’d say you should export a PDF file from the LayOut file and send that to them instead. They can surely open a PDF.

You should probably change the title of your thread.
