I remember when you helped me learn to draw the cabriole legs!
Is this one you’re actually building?
Not now. My shop tools are in long term storage for a while.
I originally did the model for shop drawings.
Another little 2-cylinder engine with a pair of duplex watter pumps. As usual, a bunch of screws still to add.
Nice. In the actual examples I have noticed the Braille text is quite small, probably to allow for reading similarly like in a book.
Yes. I made the other text small so the Braille dots would actually be visible. The Braille is modeled based on the information the OP provided in his thread, though.
I am so glad that sooooooo many people appreciate you! In one post it may be your SketchUp knowledge and skills, the next might be your answering somebody’s question in the middle of the night, and then it might be some steam doo-hickey, and usually a good dose of dry humor. You’ve made my life better. And, in one of your posts, simplicity was mentioned; Einstein said, " Things should be as simple as can be, but no simpler." I hope you get your tools out as soon as you need them. Thanks DaveR!
Thank you very much! I appreciate that.
Monkeying around with animation export from Vray.
Footplate Animation2
Materials as in SU2025, not editing of them in Vray.
I didn’t find much useful info that showed how to make the export using the current Vray version so I blundered my way through it.
After a little break I decided to model another little steam engine. This is a little oscillator with a boiler. Still a few parts to model.
Lets see the finished product then ![]()
Nice work, what is your setup for TPU? also what printer are you using?
What is the purpose for this section?
