Sketcup 2025 crashes

I am starting to use Sketchup 2025 but when I open a complex architectural model that I have been happily working on for over a year in Sketchup 2024 (studio) When I open this existing drawing and move or copy an object crashes everytime. When I open a new instance of sketchup and paste all of the geometry into the new instance everything works fine. Then I tried to transfer all of my scenes into a new/blank instance of sketchup using Enroth plug-in. When I do Sketchup 2025 crashes instantly. This is tough and I don’t want to upgrade everybody in the office until I can make sense of how to handle next steps…

do you have the extension migration tool installed ?
if to, turn it off or even uninstall it. and try again ?

interesting question- the first time I installed SketchUp 2025 I used the migration tool. The second and third time I installed Sketchup 2025- clean install on my back up machine and then a clean install on my primary computer I did not use the migrator and installed all of my extensions manually. In all cases the crash remains the same. another thing I have tried includes changing back to classic graphics engine- no difference in the crashes…
