The resistance to change is actually a very big factor in my opinion. That is probably why I haven’t completely cut my ties with AutoCad when it comes to 2D drawings. Its something I know my way around and I know how to get the job done on that platform, even if it might be a slightly slower workflow, basically I’m comfortable with it.
You would think as a SketchUp Extension developer I, myself would be fully converted to SU and Layout. Yes, I am working on it but even I am still dealing with my AutoCad monkey (demons).
Asking someone to change their workflow and/or software is a big ask.
