SketchUp Modeling Tool Feature Requests (Modeling Tools Only!)

My thinking is, SU HQ could provide ‘Extension-Power-Bundles’ to cover these items from their own SketchUP Team & add to these as-&-when. I’ve seen a few by them on the SU Extension Warehouse, that way SU HQ can still focous on the core programme & provide all these items as additions for those who want them. I realise theres lots of extensions out there, but may sit better with existing & potential new users. They can even promote/advertise it on their ‘Industries’ website tab for various disciplines…just a thought… …(keep the pricing as low as possible though… )

I 100% agree with this (actually floated it as an idea a while ago - https://youtu.be/eRhJTYfdUEA?si=ouM4lBh1n6TZrrgV&t=187) and am a little surprised that it isn’t happening.

It seems like a no-brainer, as it allows SketchUp to maintain its position as “the easy to learn modeling program,” while also allowing it to compete with other modeling softwares in terms of modeling features.

I think there might be a little marketing confusion around what to do with extensions. On the one hand, they’re tools that make SketchUp significantly better, but on the other, they’re not really tools “from” SketchUp, so I’d imagine they’re a little tricky to handle from a marketing standpoint.
