I seem to have quite a few problems with the last 25 and now 2026 Updates. One that is problematic for me is when I insert SU top Layout the Model Window is greyed out meaning I can’t set the scale etc. SO I can’t use Layout! Can anybody help with this? I also have crashing issues almost every time I open SU since the graphic update I think in ‘25.

So you aren’t seeing this when you click on the viewport?
Can you do a screen capture?
BTW, the LO file has client information in it. You should remove the file before it gets scavenged.

Try that. Power off entirely and leave it for a minute or so. Then restart the computer and try again.

No change. I also note that the under document set up the references say out of date but all the boxes below are greyed out.
And this is in LO2026?
Try this: Close SketchUp and LayOut. Reboot your computer. When it restarts, find the installer in the Downloads folder. Right click on it, choose Run as administrator and click Repair when the option is presented. After it completes, reboot your computer again. Then see if there’s a change.

In LayOut 2026 it was moved to the Window menu. Part of fulfilling the feature request to make LayOut look like SketchUp. Preferences is also in the Window menu.
Got as far as clicking on Run as Administrator and all it seems to ge doing is showing the spinning circle!
How do I remove the layout page with obsolete details?
Click on the pencil icon at the bottom right of that forum post and then edit the post to delete the file.
