Did you install it with elevated privileges by right-clicking and choosing “Run as administrator” ?
After updating graphics driver, if still an issue, you can try switching off autosave and see if problems go away ?
Window > Preferences > General
If not try changing OpenGL settings:
Window > Preferences > OpenGL
Restart SketchUp after making changes. (I suggest only making one change at a time. Restart. Test,… repeat.)
BTW, … SketchUp is a registered product family name, and is one word with the “S” and “U” capitalized. (I corrected the topic title for ya’, but it is still missplled several places in your profile.)
