Sketchup into CADviews?

Hello!

I’m now pretty much done with my building and now I need to get it into “AUTOCAD” with the “Architectic views”
How do I do this??

need views from the side… the back… the top and the “walls”
I’ve uploaded the file incase anyone wanna take a look and let me know how to do it! :smile:

<img src= width=127 height=145 border=0/>
<div style=font-size:9px;font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;width:127px;font-color:#44a854;> file storage

Here’s my AUTOCAD file for “Architectic view”
<img src= width=127 height=145 border=0/>
<div style=font-size:9px;font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;width:127px;font-color:#44a854;> file upload

Hey kewooz, could you clarify what you mean by this?

When I tried to export as 2D graphic before into CAD the “Lines” within Autocad dissapeared. I thought that had something to do with the file being saved as a “drawing”. But nevermind… I’ve uploaded my original CAD file. I need the views of the house on the side of the arcitectic view… do you know how to do this?

  1. Go to Camera…Parallel Projection
  2. Go to Camera…Standard Views…Choose your view
  3. Go to File…Export…I the drop-down select .dwg
  4. Open your .dwg file in AutoCAD. Make sure all your layers are on.

Hope this helps.

Do I click as 2D graphic??

Yep. I assume that’s what you want.
