Hi! I am trying to install Sketchup on my Windows 11, and it is not working.
It keeps taking me in a sort of loop- I install from the website, see it in my downloads, click get started and it boots me out. I suspect it may be a problem with my Snapdragon processor, but am not sure.
There isn’t an ARM native version of SketchUp for Windows, but if you are running Windows 11 on an ARM based PC, SketchUp runs quite well. I haven’t had any problems using the installer.
I test lots of different versions. I tried the current version you will be using, and the install went normally, but only after I deleted some files that were left over from earlier tests. I deleted the folder C:\Program Files\SketchUp\SketchUp 2026, and then the installer was happy to do the install.
The frame rate on Windows appears to be limited to 60 fps, and when I tried a test on my ARM laptop, I was getting more than 58 fps.
