Hi @CaseyG , thank you very much for adding our domains to the database. We (students and teachers) are now able to log in to the web version of Sktechup Edu, which is great.
We are still not able to use the Windows-App, there seems to be a remaining issue which we cannot resolve on our side technically. Anyway, we are able to access the SktechUp for Schools web version, which is great - thanks again for your help.
Hi, we are having the same issue. The first time our students open the Sketchup for Schools they are asked for permission. Once they have all granted, then they get in a loop and arenāt able to access. Can you add our domain (@betania-patmos.org) to the withelist?, please
Hi everyone, thanks for the posts and sorry for the wait. Iāll try and address everyone all at once.
If you are getting the āAre you in the right place?ā message, adding your domain to the database may fix the issue. To add you to the database I need two things. I need to know if you are a k-12 school or are higher education and the domain you want me to add. I could also use a link to your school or district website if you have one although that last one is optional.
If you are seeing a login loop over and over again that indicates that something else is wrong. That one could be a number of different issues and may take more time to solve. The usual suspects are blocked cookies and/or blocked popups.
If you already checked those, please provide the following information:
- Are you using any third party antivirus or firewall apps? They can cause issues sometimes, (especially GoGuardian)
- Is it affecting all students or just a few?
- Are you using Google or Microsoft to deploy the app?
- What operating system are you using and what browser are you using?
For those of you who already shared that info, keep an eye on your inbox for a message from either me or Tori. One or both of us will reach out as soon as we can.

Hi Casey, I am a google for education administrator for our domain edu.umea.se and have recieved information about login issues for our users. We seem to be getting that login authentication loop. I have checked everything in your tips for fixing the problem but we still have issues. I have tried with a test student account on a chromebook but it gets stuck in the loop. What to do?

Hi everyone, It sounds like you are all experiencing an authentication loop. While I am happy to add all of you to our database of approved domains, that is unlikely to fix the issue. If you still want me to add you to the database I can do so. Just reply to this post and let me know if you are higher education or not and the domain you want me to add.
As for fixing a login loop, there are a number of potential issues we can look at. The most common cause of this issue is blocked popups and/or blocked cookies. I would recommend checking those if you have not already done so.
Finally, if you are comfortable accessing developer mode, there is a more specific error message in the console that may help me figure out the issue a little faster so if you can share a screenshot of that with me that would be helpful.

Hi @Anthony.Poel. Thanks for the post and sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I was out of the office teaching a class last week. I am back online now and was able to get you added right away. You are all set to deploy the app now, just make sure you donāt miss any steps as you deploy the app as that can cause issues later on. If you are still seeing issues with the app please let me know what you are seeing and what error message if any pops up.
As for you @YunSergey, Iāll need a little more to go on than just a domain. I need to verify that you are a k-12 school or equivalent. I also could use a link to your school website or district website if you have one. Finally, your domain was flagged as suspicious by our system so I may need to manually override that. To do that I need to confirm what country you are in. Can you please let me know that too?
