I’m running Latest iPadOS 18.1 Public Beta On iPad 13inch M4

List of bugs:

Video 1 Video 1.mov - Google Drive

  • Some dimmensions which are part of the group disappearing when zoom in. (Note: Sketchup file settings: I set hide small dimmensions when zoom out, i do not know if this can be part of the problem, i set that in my file template back in days i used also desktop app, now i can not change it back, because ipad menu limitations)
  • Dimmensions which are part of the group are not clipped out when using section cut tool. The rest of the group is normally clipped out.

  • Weird behavior when seethroo multiple transparent or fully transparent textures. (Note: Never appeared before)

Video 3 Video 3.mov - Google Drive

  • Ambient Oclusion didn’t work on objects with one side set to fully or partly transparent. Expected behavior should be that ambient Oclusion on non transparent side should be visible.

All the mentioned bugs are directly related to the new graphics engine. When using the classic graphics engine, everything works as it should.

On the other hand, when using the classic graphics engine, the dimensions break when adding a new scene or updating an old one. The file needs to be closed and reopened every time to fix this issue. This bug has been around for quite some time, and I noticed it as early as iOS 17 on the old iPad Pro 2020.
