I’m using an iMac with 8 mb RAM. I’m doing a home remodeling, and when I erase to go backward, it crashes after about 3 erases. Could I need more RAM?
Erase to go backward - do you mean the Ctrl+Z (Undo) command or the Eraser Tool? Have you tried the Fix Problems option from Model Info window?
Surely you mean 8GB? That ought to be enough unless you are using large numbers of over-detailed 3D warehouse furniture, plants or vehicles in your model.
What size is the model, and (look at Window/Model Info/Statistics) how many faces and edges in it (check the Show nested components box first).
Perhaps you could upload the model to the 3D warehouse, and post a link here, and someone could download it and check it for problems?
