Hello everyone,
For some time now I’ve been experiencing major malfunctions in Sketchup.
Sketchup crashes all the time i try to print or when i try to export.
I always have to send to Layout, but I’m having problems with with dimensions.
I know that the dimensions should be added not in sketchup but in Layout, but in any case I should be able to print from sketchup without any crashes.
I’m using a 2018 Mac Book Pro.
Processor: 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5 quad-core
Memory: 8GB 2133MHz LPDDR3
Graphics card: Intel Iris Plus Graphics 655 1536 MB
I am absolutely not happy with the purchase I made!.
For starters, are you getting bugsplat reports when it crashes, and if so are you submitting them to Trimble after filling in your contact info and a description of what you were doing?
Is your forum profile correct that you are running SketchUp 2023 on macOS Big Sur? That combination is “not supported”, which doesn’t mean it absolutely won’t work but that there is no promise that it will. There will also be no patch releases to address issues with this combination.
If possible you should try updating to macOS Ventura to see if that helps. Do not go to Sonoma, as SketchUp won’t support it until 2024.
If that doesn’t help, try disabling extensions. Incompatible extensions are a common cause of crashes.
