Ours schools use the free SketchUp 8. (Sketchup Make 2015 is a good future option….but we’d rather not switch versions right now, with one month left in the school year.)
The replacement sketchup.dat file from here is generally working well.
But now choosing File/3D Warehouse/Get Models pops up a warning: “3DWH Server override detected”
Click OK, and it does go to the 3D Warehouse. But we’ll get a lot of questions from teachers (and teachers from kids) worrying that the scary pop-up means something is broken.
Is there a registry setting or other way to suppress the message?
Thanks!
