Having problems with ‘ghost shadows’ in Sketchup 2026 after recent upgrade

Unwanted shadows are being cast by objects behind the section plane [top pic]

Problem does not occur in Sketchup 2025 [bottom pic]

I’m using a MacBook Pro M5 running OS Tahoe

Any advice would be appreciated

It could be faster shadows, a parameter that is here on PC but not on mac.

try this, is it better ?

I was having this problem on PC. Just started after most recent update. This fix solved the problem for me - Thank You!
