Sketchup 2026 and Mac OS 27

is sketchup 2026 compatible with Mac OS 27?

https://help.sketchup.com/en/sketchup/system-requirements - Not officially. that doesn’t mean it won’t work. Perhaps someone running OS27 can confirm.

As Eric says, macOS 27 isn’t listed, and we generally don’t go back and certify older versions of SketchUp with new releases of macOS.

My own Mac (at home) is on macOS 27. One thing I will look at is the message that Apple shows when opening older apps. It says that the app won’t work in the next version of macOS. I think that would mean macOS 28. When I’m at home later I will see which versions of SketchUp show that message.

I have a MacBook Pro M1 MacOS 27, running SketchUp 26, no problems so far (used it last night)

I’m still able to run Make 2017 on MacBook with IOS27.

I think that is all of the intel based apps - as Rosetta is being entirely removed.

I only got one warning about the application not being able to run in macOS 28. It’s possible that the others I tried looked like SketchUp.app, and the OS didn’t bother to tell me again for each version.

2015 crashed on launch, 2016 and later opened and ran ok. It is likely that the older ones would have crashed after a while of using them.
