Hey everyone,
When I started up SketchUp 2026, all of my toolbar setups were gone, everything I had customized was toggled off. I had my workspace dialed in before (custom toolbars, plugins visible, etc.), but now it looks like SketchUp reset everything back to default.
Has anyone else run into this? Any idea why this happens or how to restore my previous toolbar setup?

The usual reason for this on Windows is incorrect installation which results in Windows not granting SketchUp required permissions to write the file that records your toolbar locations. Close SketchUp and LayOut, do a cold reboot of the computer, find the downloaded installer in your Downloads folder, right click on it, choose Run as administrator and then choose the Repair option. After it completes, do another cold reboot, open SketchUp, and set up your toolbars as desired. For good measure, open a SketchUp model and make a change to it. Then save the file. See if that gets you sorted out.
