Hi, how can i fix this problems when i run my sketchup 2025 checkup

im ussing:
wndows 11 pro x64
core i9 14900k
64gb ram
rtx 4070

Error: Something went wrong while retrieving the system information from your computer. This may cause tests regarding System RAM, Windows version and/or GPU memory to fail.
Error: System RAM information is missing.
Error: Windows version information is missing.
Error: GPU information is missing.
Success: GPU OpenGL requirement has been met!
Success: GPU Hardware Acceleration requirement has been met!

The Checkup program found some errors (listed above). You may need to take some action in order to run SketchUp 2024.

hi colin, yes my sketchup works fine, but when i render on vray i have constantly bugsplats. thats why i tried to run this checkout.

Make sure that both SketchUp and V-ray are set to use the “High Performance (NVIDIA RTX 4070)” GPU.

System > Display > Graphics > Add an app

i have a lot of bugsplats when i render with vray too.
im so confused

hi dan, where exactly is the v-ray executable? this one?
C:\Program Files\Chaos\V-Ray\V-Ray for SketchUp\extension\vray\bin\vray.exe

I have no idea actually, but that does look promising. You can also ask V-ray specific questions in the Chaos forums.

In my opinion, CheckUp is near worthless. It relies upon the Microsoft msinfo32.exe utilty which is known to have problems reading RAM specs, etc.

SketchUp itself runs its own hardware checks when it loads, and the application code “gets more love” than the CheckUp utility.

What I am saying is that the first statement in the report basically means that the rest of the report should be ignored. Just concentrate on getting SketchUp itself and V-Ray installed correctly.
