Sketchup 2018 Pro and make crash when trying to save this file. However sketchup is able to save this auto save (attached). Please can someone give some advice on how I might save it properly to edit and create other versions. The file is only a couple of line profiles so I find it odd that is cant be saved. System is a Dell xps 15 2018, Windows 10 AutoSave_Untitled.skp (1.2 MB)
what are the four components inside?

Only shapes used the build the scaffolding. I feel these are not the problem as here is another similar file that will not save and dose not have those shapes. AutoSave_AutoSave_Untitled_1.skp (1.2 MB)
in the first model, I see you have at least one curve with 20,000 segments…
SU has issues with more than 10,000 edges per item ,
that may be your problem…

John, Thank you for your help, I did not know this. Will continue whilst trying to stick to 10,000. Will splitting the curve into 2 items each with 10,000 help?
