# Sketchup 16, Layer Manager

Recently upgraded from SU2015 Pro to SU2016 Pro. The Layers toolbar is active, but the Layer Manager is missing- nowhere to be found. Am I missing something or is this a bug in SU16?

The system has changed in 2016, you need to look for it in the trays rather than a separate window.

You will see it in default tray when you put a check on it.

The old way to get in the layer manager was much easier,  
Is there a quicker way to show the layer manager.  
The scene manager is better to reach, just by right clicking on a scene tab  
This could work also for the layers

Go to – Window – Default Tray – Select Layers to activate the Layers menu in the Default Tray.
