# Shortcuts not working upon opening file, but later working

I’m having a problem with my shortcuts settings. When opening an existing file, the space bar shortcut for select tool opens model info window. Also the arrow keys that I set for camera views instead toggle between scenes. But after some time or certain commands, my shortcut settings return to their proper functions.

did you try the advice offered last September when you asked …

It is a known mac issue, but you still haven’t let us know if your on a mac…

Thank you John, I did not see that my previous post was responded to. That tip seems to be working.
