Send to layout model is too large. When I resize it doesn't save the new size, Mac

My plan view drawing imports to layout too large. I can select it and zoom it out to fit, but when I go to print it reverts to the size that is too large.

Don’t do that. Select the viewport and set the scale in the SketchUp Model panel to a scale that is suitable for the paper. Share your LO file and I’ll help.
