# Select tool not responding

SketchUp make 2017. I completed a project in June this year; everything ran well. Just started a new project and when I triple click a 3D object using select tool I get a delayed response then only one face is highlighted in blue? Tried uninstalling and reinstalling program with no change. Any ideas?
