Section frames not visible

Hi all. I’m running Sketchup 2026 on an M4 macBook and having problems with section frames. Successfully enabled section frames and cuts on one grouped object, after which section frames not available anywhere else in the model. Tried opening a new test model with just one object but still cannot enable section frames.

I tried everything including changing to the classic graphics engine but no change. Tried rebooting Sketchup and rebooting the macBook, but still no section frames. Does anyone have any suggestions what could be the problem?

Please share the model. We will only be guessing at what might be wrong.

You can drag it to a response window. If it is too large you will need to use a file sharing service and post a public link.

Thanks for your reply. Below is a test model with just one object. On my macBook I can find no way to activate section frames within this model.

Your files has a virus into it, buy another pc.

Joking

Sketchup is not showing section planes because you told it to not show them.
You just need to enable the visibility of section planes using the proper toolbar button or the setting into “Styles” panel.
That’s it.

Thank you! I thought view->section planes was sufficient to enable them, now I see. Problem solved…
