Hi SketchUp world!
Over time I have created quite a few SketchUp models. From time to time I like to use these models to create a new model that may be similar to the new one I am creating, like a template if you will. BTW I do have some templates created that is not the issue and I do not want to create a template for every little variation. Currently, I page through seemingly endless images of the SKP files using Windows Explorer…I would much rather type in some tags or some type type of text that would narrow down the quantity of files to a more manageable visual search. For example show me all files with latched doors.
I can not seem to find a solution such as this or any solution that could possibly work. I realize I could create lengthy file names or create a much better filing system, but why should I in this day and age? There are other reasons I do not want to do this, but I don’t want to bore anyone with those details.
Thoughts, suggestions? Thanks!
