I would like to create a scene in my drawings so that i can easily click between xray and regular shaded views but the scenes won’t seem to update the x-ray feature. Any ideas?

Where are you triggering the update, in the scene tabs across the main window, or in the Scenes Pallet?

Xray is saved as a style feature, you need two different styles for your two scenes.

You could also set a shortcut to **View \> Face Style \> X-ray** as a quick toggle. (I have **X** set.)
