i guess i m doing something wrong
Which extension are you trying to use?
I can export your file to svg and get this using enerothâs svg exporter, but you must have faces for it to work.
I just realised we have been through all this before in your other thread on the same subject.
You must have faces, not just edges.
Thnx for the replay.
Indeed, i v had some problemes in the past, but now it still donât work.
I dont understand what you mean by âfacesâ
Christof
It will if you create faces.
Faces are what the edges enclose in SketchUp. In your model you have edges but no faces.
You also have your geometry placed at a huge distance from the origin. You should keep the model close to the origin.
Here Iâve moved the geometry close to the origin and created the faces which are shown selected.
It sounds to me as if you would benefit in going through the SketchUp training at learn.sketchup.com before you spend more time struggling with creating your models.
thnx for the help.
Struggling indeed to get an SVG-file
Here is what OCL 7 can export with its new âExport Pathâ tool.
(Itâs a Zip file because the forum doesnât accept .svg files. So you have to extract it.)
PATHS.svg.zip (3,0 Ko)
But before :
- I select all lines and weld them
- Create one face in the drawing plane.
- Active the Export Path tool
- Move the mouse over the face
- Hold down the SHIFT key
- Move the mouse over the Red axis to define the export direction.
- Click to export âŚ
