I don’t follow exactly, what do you mean?

But just in case :

You can change the camera parameters of any scene by right clicking the scene and choosing update.

That will ask you which current setting you wish to update in the scene.

:+1: thanks

What version of SketchUp are you using? Your profile seems to show conflicting information.

There really aren’t multiple cameras in SketchUp. Scenes are used to define positions of the camera within the model space.

It isn’t clear from your forum profile or posts whether you are using the free web version or the 2018 desktop version of Sketchup. If you are using the latter, there are several extensions available that allow you to save and restore camera properties. The web version does not support extensions, so your only option is to use Scenes or the Camera previous/next commands.

There is a so-called “camera history” accessible via the “Camera Previous” (which has an associated icon) and “Camera Next” commands. (Similar to Undo/Redo)
However, I have no idea how many camera positions it stores, and I wouldn’t remember anyway whether I needed the view from five or ten steps back.
It is far more practical to use scenes, or extension.

I think it’s 5, but it can feel like less than that :

star in position A. scroll a bit. stop, then rotate. this counts as 3 already, the current camera, the one pre rotate, and the initial one.

I’ve used it after zooming out inside a wall by accident, but never more than 1-2 step back.

So you could just go back through dozens, hundreds of previous camera instead of just hitting the scene you saved for the exact camera position you wanted?

To DaveR’s point - the solution we provide that will work is dependent on the information you provide in your profile - which currently conflicts by showing both Web and Desktop. Fix this info first.

If on desktop (ie SU Pro) you can try the Advanced Camera Tools Extension. This lets you create a ‘physical’ camera in the scene (and add them all to their own tag so you can toggle them on and off). To access a specific camera, you can right-click and choose ‘Look through camera’. Note this will still create and utilize scenes for each camera but will give you an alternative way to toggle them on and off so to speak.
