ValiArchitects Instant roof does nice metal roofs (modeled geometry ) but it could have built your whole roof too! If corrugated though, usually not worth the geometry except small roofs and close renders.

Yes I have. Keep at it, check out Chuck’s online help. Set a hot key for the tool so you can bring it up several times quickly until you get it right. Also experiment with a simple one, then go for the more complex. Unequal plate heights require some thought, and possibly making separate roofs to combine afterward.
