Roof issue

Hello SU Users,

Attached is a file of a design I am working on. I’m having issues trying to figure out one part of the roof. Where the red and blue roofs meet is a dead spot where water can’t drain. Any ideas on how to fix this issue. The foot print of the building is locked in so there is no changing that. Thanks in an advance and have a cool. day.

How about a roof cricket (see below in green):

Or, if you’re feeling adventurous, something like this:

I live in an area with quite a lot of snow so I would avoid valleys, so I would suggest a lean-to type of roof for cost, safety and simplicity.

full hip, maybe dutch gable

This is the simplest 6:12 hipped roof solution using my olde ‘Roof’ toolset… Only took a minute to create - the longest time was tracing over the building-footprint to create a face to use for the result… It’s almost 20 years old BUT still works in v2026 - it’s free…
Although the fastest was entirely hipped / valleys you can edit the result to have some ‘gable’ ends as desired… But the awkward front offshoot needs a hip ?
