Hello everyone! I am new here and new to sketchup
I would like to know why my model from archicad when I render it on sketchup v ray comes with noise - like dots although I changed quality I added some ligths. does anyone uses archicad to model faster and then renders in v ray?
The render might be still in progress - do you have “progressive” on in your render settings? It generally renders faster if you set the quality to something like medium and turn the Denoiser filter on. Highest quality renders might take a long time, especially if you are using CPU rendering. RTX mode would probably be faster.

It’s likely not ArchiCad as the problem but your render settings. How much experience do you have with V-Ray? There is the Denoiser setting. It could be also dimensions, or number of pixels. As well as what @Anssi said about progressive rendering taking too long to complete. Post some screenshots of you render and render settings so we know better what you’re working with.
Archicad-exported SketchUp files might be a bit heavy, though. I haven’t needed those for a while, but I remember that it makes every exported object unique.
