Recovering deleted SKP files

I had a couple of students submit their SKP file through Google Classrooms. When I opened the file from Google Classroom, they opened in my SketchUp account.

When I was done reviewing the file, I deleted it from my dashboard. However, this also deleted the file from the students’ accounts. Is there anything that can be done to recover these files?

If this was Trimble Connect, you could go into a project here:

click Activity, and do a restore of deleted files. I’m hoping there is something similar with Google Drive. Does this article help at all?

Thanks for this response! I checked the trash for both my Google Drive, as well as the students’ and there are no files in the trash at all.
