We recently had an where our computer crashed and we had to replace the Hard Drives on our Desktop and Laptop which we had installed SketchUp Pro 2024 License Subscription, we need to re-install the License Subscription.
Can someone tell us the procedure or link that we need to go to re-install our Subscription.
This is an urgent request for information.
Thanks
Michael P
You don’t install a subscription, you just sign on using the email associated with your subscription. If you get a message saying you have exceeded your activation limit, go to manage license, deauthorize all, reboot, then try again to sign in.
In this case you’re only asking about a 2024 subscription, and what Steve said should work.
In case anyone finds this post and they have the same problem with a Classic license, which even you could have, because you have a 2021 Classic license, changing the hard drive on a computer shouldn’t stop a Classic license from working. The licenses normally use the MAC address, which comes from the Ethernet port (or other network hardware). If you had changed the motherboard there would have been an issue, but only changing the hard drive should still let you add the Classic license again, without using up another activation.
