Question about Desktop version of Sketch up

Hello all,

I’m trying to decide whether or not I want the desktop version and this question will help me determine it :slight_smile:
Before sketch up switched to a subscription and “locked out” the desktop version, I had all my sketch up files saved with animation scenes.
I now have to go back and use these files and I don’t know if anything has changed within the desktop version. Does anyone know IF I were to subscribe is if those files still work and if those animation scenes have been saved and still work? I tried it in the web version and while the files work, it didn’t import the animation scenes.

SketchUp Pro is still desktop software (not web-based).

SketchUp 2021 will open your old files and if you have scenes established, they’ll be there.
