This morning’s video on push pull was helpful, but it didn’t cover an issue I have been having with push pull lately.
I have been cutting into 2x4 and 2x6 geometry lately to predict cuts on lumber for framing,
I have been noticing that when I cut off the end of one to match the lumber it’s meeting, the push pull tool leaves the back face even though I referenced a point on the back?
I’m sure it’s user error, but what should I be doing to make it snap out so that I don’t have to isolate the group and erase the extra lines?
I am seeing a similar problem in the latest Pro version. In the following image I created a rectangle on plan and PP’ed it in the Z direction before making it into a Group. Opening the group for editing and drawing lines to remove the corners, some are removed (TR & BL), the other two retain the back face. I have seen this numerous times recently. I have a feeling the maths is off somewhere in the core.
Since the issue above sounds like it may be happening on Pro as well as iPad I went ahead and shared this post with the core engine team for investigation.
Now I’m wondering about you unresponsive buttons bugs @marcodileo. Which buttons are not working for you?
