This is a section of a complex model I am building, the hull of a fantasy sub - with two symmetrical sides. I projected the logo but that doesn’t work when I mirror it, of course, cause the text is reversed.
My solution was to remove the hull geo from the component. On one side I paste it in place. On the other side I project the logo onto the mirrored hull, and then position that side.
But that seems pretty complicated. Too error-prone. Is there an easier way I’m forgetting about?

You’re correct in that a component mirrored will inverse the text. The only way to do it is to use the component to place the logo…make that logo a component first…then copy, delete, and paste in place outside of each side of the Hull component (ie twice so only delete it after it’s pasted in place both times. Lastly scale by -1 or mirror the logo on the inversed side back to it’s correct orientation.
Yes, I could make the logo into its own component. That would work but I was afraid it would look weird because it is projected. Maybe if I projected the image onto a transparent surface it would be ok.
