I am running on a HP 250 G7 notebook on Windows 11, with a HP Officejet Pro 7740. In order to print tabloid without exporting to PDF I have to go into the system print dialog’s advanced options and physically change my paper size to tabloid. No other step either in Layout (like changing my page setup) or even the standard print dialog preserves or changes the printer settings.
My drivers are up to date, my computer and printer have both been restarted. I have selected a tabloid template at the outset. This problem is exclusive to Layout, as i have printed tabloid perfectly fine from Word, or as pdfs. I understand that exporting is a common recommendation and that does seem to work with no issues. I’m posting mainly to see if this is exclusive to my setup or if others have experienced similar problems.
