Hi. This issue began after I upgraded from SketchUp 2022 to 2023. When I do a print preview, the objects appear very small, just like in the uploaded picture. They also print out extremely small. (You might not believe it, but the image I uploaded is a building.) I can’t figure out how to solve this problem. I hope you won’t give me a beginner’s answer like “Try checking ‘Fit to page’.” Thank you!
Share the .skp file so we can see what you are working with.
Update your profile. It says you’re using 2021.
How should I share a skp file? I’m sorry… I don’t have experience in this area.
I’m guessing it’s larger than 16 Mb so upload it to DropBox or WE Transfer and share the link.
Hahaha, sorry. I realized it was a misunderstanding and deleted it right away, but you’ve already seen it.
Well, after you share the .skp file correct your forum profile.

I’m really, really, very, very, very sorry, but could you roughly tell me how to edit my profile? I tried to find it myself, but couldn’t find it. I’m not from an English-speaking country, so I’m not good at English.
Click on the F in the green circle at the top right of the forum page. Click on the person icon and then Preferences. You should be able to figure it out from there.
Show the Print Preview set up window. Make sure you are zoomed in on the model.
These blank spaces have always been an issue regardless of the version used, so I don’t mind to them.
So what happens when you tick the box for Use model extents?
I see you edited your post while I was replying ,again. Try setting the Print Quality down.
Why aren’t you using LayOut? You could get better results if you did.
Of course, I too want to use the “Layout”. But I haven’t studied it separately so I don’t know how to use it. I’m too busy with work to make time to study. If I have a little time, I’ll study it anew and give it a try.
"I tried lowering the print quality, but the result is the same. It doesn’t seem to be the issue. Although the problem wasn’t resolved, thank you for your kind assistance. Are you a SketchUp developer working at Trimble?
No. I’m just a SketchUp user and volunteer trying to help other users. I don’t work for Trimble.
In my opinion, it may not be a problem with the SketchUp program, but rather with my printer driver. While searching for information, I once saw an article that the efficiency between the SketchUp program and the HP printer driver is not good.
Printer drivers have been known to be problematic. Using LayOut and exporting to PDF for printing is often a better options.
It’s been a long time since this issue occurred, but I did discover one improvement method. If the objects have a larger ratio than the blank space on the preview screen, can obtain a normal preview result. However, there are times when I need to capture scenes that show the entire building from a distance… In those cases, the empty background has a larger ratio than the objects, and that’s when the issues I mentioned earlier occur during the preview.
