Print and PDF don't work

Every time I try printing or exporting to PDF, or print preview Layout just goes to blue wheel and stops responding. I’ve restarted the program several times, restarted the computer, tried export to PDF, Microsoft print to PDF, print preview, and straight up print. Nothing works. I use PDF export and print to PDF on multiple programs daily and never have issues. I have just done so from other programs including sketchup itself to check if the issue is outside layout and it appears that there are no issues anywhere else. I have tried with multiple layout files so it isn’t file specific failure.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Exactly what version of SketchUp and LayOut are you using? Your profile shows your operating system as “Ios” LayOut does not work on iOS. What graphics card? “GHjjj” is not a graphics card.

If you’re using LayOut 2023 or 2024, do you have the Output Override box ticked in Document Setup>Rendering? If so, untick the box and try again.

Please fix your forum profile.

I was unaware of those settings, must have auto set up when I joined. Windows, layout2024, Radeon 5500 graphics card

No. They don’t auto fill when you join the forum. The forum software has no idea what SketchUp version you are using?

What about the tick box?

Unticking that box fixed it, thank you very much. What would cause that to tick? Something I did inadvertantly? I was unaware of this as even a setting. I have exported PDF’s as recently as a week ago and haven’t to my knowledge been in that document set up. It could be that I was importing a template I had used in 2023.

Good deal.

It’s normally ticked by default.

If you had already rendered all viewports as Vector or Hybrid before trying to export, this setting wouldn’t come into play at all. It is designed to allow you to leave viewports rendered as Raster while you are working and then automatically render them as Hybrid during the export or printing process. This can speed things up while you are working and then you only have the Hybrid (or Vector if you choose that instead) renders done once. Had you waited long enough the export would have completed once the viewports were all rendered.

Could be that your template from 2023 had that box ticked.
