Potential bug for match color of object in model

Hello i am having some trouble with duplicating the selected material on Sketchup 2025.
I am sharing a screenshot here.
When i click to “match color of object in model” colorpicker is not appearing.
Then if i click to modeling area sketchup crashes.

Match color on screen option is working by the way.
Is there a solution?

Yes i am sending bugsplats with my info.

As i told before i am having this issue within duplicate material menu.
Its working on material menu same as yours but when i duplicate a material this problem appears.

There was a material related crashing issue fixed in SketchUp 2026.1.2. You seem to still be using 2025, if you are able to get up to date, hopefully it will fix the problem.

Thank you Colin, this is exactly the explanation I was looking for. For me, figuring out the root cause of these kinds of issues is always way more important.
