Points from AutoCAD to SketchUp - conversion to terrain does not work

None of the plugins for converting points to terrain work. Do you know why? I tried Fredo6 - toposhaper, Terrain from contours, Convert point cloud… I am attaching a .dwg survey from a surveyor, a .skp file and a .txt with XYZ coordinates. I also pin the screenshot - it says: “Before using this tool, you must first select the outlines you want to use to create the sandbox.”

When I use scale (it shoud be 1000x bigger) it is still not working :frowning: Even though I scaled the model 1000x to the correct size, it still gives me the same error and the terrain can’t be created. Could I ask what steps you followed that made it work for you?

Did you scale from inside the group (Edit Group > Select Points > Scale) or did you scale the group of points from outside (without applying the Scale Definition afterwards)?

With Fredo TopoShaper - Select the group (imported dwg) > Generate Trimesh Terrain (Cloud) - see video

I enlarged it in AutoCAD before importing it into SketchUp. But this works  Thank you very much!

Just set the unit correctly when importing into SketchUp.

You’re welcome!
