Could you please return my queued MakeRoof 1.1.13 submission to Draft?
I need to replace the currently submitted RBZ with an updated version.
I contacted Developer Support on September 10 and followed up on September 15 under Support Request #4824, but I have not yet received a response.
Please preserve the existing MakeRoof listing, developer account, and listing information. I only need the currently queued submission returned to Draft so I can replace the RBZ and resubmit it.
Extension: MakeRoof Version: 1.1.13 Status: In Queue Support Request:#4824
Thank you very much for your assistance.
Best regards,

@CraigTrickett could you please help me with this submission when you have a chance? Thank you!
Thank you very much! I understand that you and your team are extremely busy due to the sudden increase in the number of extensions being submitted.
I’m sure that many of the plugins being submitted today have been developed with the help of AI, especially by non-professional “vibe coders.” I have to admit that I’m one of them too. But from a positive perspective, I think this is actually a very good sign for SketchUp.
I’ve been using SketchUp for more than 10 years, and I truly believe it still has huge potential to grow and evolve in the future, especially in this AI era.
Thank you once again for taking the time to handle my case. I really appreciate it!
I think that in the near future, the coding industry in particular—and many other industries, especially those related to technology—will develop dramatically, but at the same time, they will become divided into two very different levels.
The higher level will gradually shift toward people who know how to integrate AI into their work, while the other group will continue working in more traditional ways.
I’m an architect, and I’m currently using my own professional experience and skills to build automation tools for myself and my colleagues. AI has blurred the boundary between being an architect and being a software developer.
So I think the same thing will happen to software developers. Those who know how to use AI to automate and enhance their own work will likely have a significant advantage moving forward.
I think it will be more like AI vs. AI. Everyone will have access to these tools, so the competition won’t disappear. It will just shift to who can use AI better and produce the better result.
Did you find some bugs after submitting it? If so, I’m sure you’ll find a few more after the next submission too. By the time it gets approved, your plugin might be three versions ahead.
I submitted it today. I’ve actually developed several newer, improved versions since my last submission.
I noticed the submission page now provides a lot of useful information, especially for AI. I also tried to install your checking tool so AI can review my plugin’s source code before I submit it. I hope it follows your guidelines and helps save your team some review time.
Thanks for getting back to me!
