The section plane is as wide as the space your model takes up. Maybe you have some hidden content out there or maybe it’s just a stray entity. It would be easier to give you specific help if you upload the SketchUp model file.

As I wrote before, you have a bunch of stuff away from the main model.
I also see that you have incorrect tag usage. I’ve fixed that.
And purged the file of unused stuff.
This resulted in a file size reduction of about 30%. It’s still a big file but much better.
