It seems many times an image file wont receive realistic transparent shadows until its unlocked/exploded, even with “on ground” selected. Related, is there a way to unlock my photo Match image to allow the more realistic shadows on the face? Also, foreground image is off and if I uncheck “on ground” I lose the shadow.
Since the image isn’t on the ground, you won’t get proper shadows. Draw a large rectangle on the ground plane and apply the image to it as a texture. Then the shadows from your building will fall on it correctly.
Yes. You would since the image is behind or below the ground plane. Again, drawing a face on the ground plane and adding the image as the texture for that face will fix that.
