I am facing a bit of a confusing issue while trying to renew my subscription on SketchUp and I wanted to check if anyone here has experienced something similar.
I am using a debit card from First Abu Dhabi Bank and the payment keeps failing at the final step saying there are insufficient funds. The thing is, I checked my account right before making the payment and the balance was more than enough to cover the subscription cost.
I even tried again after some time and got the same result. When I contacted the bank, they mentioned that sometimes during online transactions the balance inquiry request from the merchant side may not reflect the most recent available balance, especially if there were recent transactions or holds on the account.
What makes this more confusing is that I was able to use the same card on another website shortly after without any issue, so it does not seem like a general card problem. It looks more like something specific happening during the payment verification step with SketchUp.
I am just trying to understand if this could be related to how SketchUp processes payments or if anyone else using FAB in the UAE has faced this kind of issue during subscription or license purchases.
