Hi all, first time poster – I’ve read a few similar threads, but haven’t seen detailed explainations how to fix the issues other than perhaps @colin or @DaveR or @ateliernab can ‘magically’ fix the issue if I share the corrupted file? A very large number of edges and unnecessarily (probably) detailed elements, but the file opens in SU 2026.
whoa whoa whoa, you were able to open it in sketchup 2026? I have it installed already, how come you’re able to view it but i can’t!? 
Are you still trying to open it directly from GDrive?!
It can be opened in both SU 2022 and SU Make 2017.
I downloaded the file again using my own google drive link… opened it straight away without the dreaded “failed to open document” wtf is going on xD
it means that during the initial download, windows locked the file to peek at it.
but not during the second download.
