PaintBucket Issue in 2023

Hey Everyone,

I just upgraded to Sketchup 2023 from 2022. I was painting a texture on a curved surface, and it wouldn’t align it properly like I am used it. I had to copy and paste it into my old version 2022 and it worked perfectly again, so I could paste it into my 2023 file.

Has anyone encountered this issue? I haven’t tested it extensively yet.

This is a known bug in 2023, until it is squashed the solution is to stay in 2022.

Texture curved surface, has something changed in 2023?

I see the difference between what you are doing and what I was doing. Now I see different behavior in 2022. I still don’t know of any change that we made that would account for this, but I created a bug report for it to be looked into. It’s SKOR-17567 in our system.

I checked my bug report, and the issue is still listed as a high priority, but apparently not fixed yet.
