Outliner or copy-paste in place

I have made a grommet component outside another curtain component. I am trying to nest the grommet within the curtain. I would be able to do this with the outliner tool or cut and paste in place. I find it easier to model one component outside another component so that sticky geometry doesn´t become an issue.

Are either of those features available in SketchUp Free.
