Unfortunately the measurement box in SketchUp 17.3.116 under OSX 10.11 does not recognize the Enter key. When trying a machine with 10.12 the problem is gone.
It’s strange, when you type on the ENTER Key, nothing, I try to play with Sketchup Make 2017 on OSX 10.11 and 10.12 (no problem), try to put the factory default about Sketchup, perhaps your shortkey will be OK.
In my case, I continue to work with Sketchup Make 2016, because, not OPEN GL 3.0
