# Option to NOT load SketchUp model from 3D Warehouse still not working in 2021?

Is it really true that even with the new SU 2021 Warehouse, the bug that would not allow you to choose “no” when prompted “Load this directly into your SektchUp model” on PC’s still has not been corrected.

Yes, it’s really true. I logged a bug about it more than two months ago, but alas there are more urgent things to fix. I don’t know when exactly it will be seen to.

Two work arounds for now (btw, the problem only happens on Windows, in case any Mac users are puzzled about the report) are that you can download into any model, then right-click on the component to save it as an external SKP. Or you can download using a web browser.

So, eventually it will work like it always has it SketchUp, and this function is not getting phased out? I teach SketchUp at Bellevue College and want to make sure I’m sharing correct info with students.

It is supposed to work, and I can’t think of a reason why it won’t be fixed.

I can’t believe this still hasn’t been fixed…any word on timeline?
